COMPREHENSIVE PROGRAM
Join a comprehensive language immersion program: besides French courses, we offer sports activities, theater and filmmaking workshops, as well as cultural trips in France and in the neighboring European countries.
The various after-school activities we offer are aimed at three main objectives:
- Developing personal qualities such as friendship, team spirit, drive and a passion for growth.
- Providing opportunities to communicate in French in a friendly and stimulating environment.
- Broadening the students’ perspective, world view, active knowledge and skills.

MODULAR SCHEDULE
Our immersion program comes in the form of modules, each lasting 5 weeks.
During the first 3 weeks of the module, the daily routine of our international students will revolve around three main components:
- 3 hours: «French as a Second Language» courses — classes tailored to our students’ level and abilities.
- 2 hours: Specialized French classes — entirely taught in French, including History, Geography, Mathematics, Literature and Economics.
- 2 hours: Sports activities: rugby, football, french boxing (savate), swimming, kayaking...
EDUCATION & SPORT

During the first 3 weeks of the module, the daily routine of our international students will revolve around three main components:
- 3 hours: «French as a Second Language» courses — classes tailored to our students’ level and abilities.
- 2 hours: Specialized French classes — entirely taught in French, including History, Geography, Mathematics, Literature, and Economics.
- 2 hours: Sports activities: rugby, football, french boxing (savate), swimming, kayaking...
Our students will spend 2 weekends per module under the care of a French family, thus giving them the opportunity to discover our lifestyle and customs while practicing spoken French in real-life situations. The 3 remaining weekends will consist of a visit to Paris and excursions to the stunning natural park of the Vosges.

French courses are tailored to the student’s level and follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL). This framework of reference allows us to adapt the progression of language skills to the level of each student.

Our village, Mandres-sur-Vair, is located in a picturesque French valley, green and peaceful, just a few kilometres away from the city of Vittel. Vittel is internationally known for its mineral water. It is a dynamic town that offers various cultural and sports activities.
We are located in the Vosges, the third most wooded region in France, which boasts a stunning natural environment consisting of world-famous thermal springs, mountains, unspoiled flora, waterfalls, lakes, rivers and pristine fir forests.

For your convenience, our package is «all-inclusive»:
- Full board on students campus (room, all meals, school uniforms, all required books to attend the classes)
- 3 weeks of intensive French courses (5 hours per day)
- Various activities with our French students including sports, access to Olympic Preparation Centre in Vittel, and local trips.
- Cultural excursions in French cities
- 1 week of travel in neighboring countries
- 1 week of theatre/cinema workshops with our French students
- 2 weekends living with a French family

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

- Students age and gender. Our language immersion program welcomes students aged 12 to 20. For practical reasons, and since our school is a boys-only institution, groups of female foreign students wishing to attend a language immersion program should come in groups of at least three. Modalities and details can be discussed with our team upon request.
- French language level. In order to be successfully immersed in a language, we advise our students to reach a basic level in French (A1) before enrolling.
- Personal qualifications. Participants must be diligent workers, motivated, and embrace our school’s education program. This program is challenging and requires autonomy and maturity.
Candidates will be asked to attach a cover letter to their application form. The school director and the coordinator of Frassati International use their discretionary power to accept or decline any application.
- Health Insurance. All students must come with a European Health Insurance card and/or private insurance valid during the whole length of their stay. This insurance must cover all health emergencies and any accident that may occur during their stay. Proof of insurance will be required before arrival.
- Payment. If your application is successful, we will send you an invoice for 25% of the total amount of the program to be paid in order to secure enrollment. The rest will be paid upon arrival at our school.
Payments can be made in EUR, USD, GBP, or any other currencies, upon request to our Project Coordinator and with sufficient notice.

The French school year begins on September 1 and ends on July 8. There are 36 weeks of schooling. There are 5 vacation periods:
- From October 22 to November 7
- From December 17 to January 3
- From February 11 to February 27
- From April 15 to May 2
- From July 8 to September 1
